If you were enrolled in the ARAG Legal Plan as an employee and continued coverage when you retired, you may continue coverage.

Enrolling in the Plan
If you have a newly eligible family member, you will have another PIE to enroll yourself and your eligible family member(s). You must request enrollment within 31 days from the date your family member is first eligible.

You may also be able to enroll during Open Enrollment, which is usually held in November. However, the legal plan is not open for enrollment every year.

How the Plan Works
The Legal Plan provides toll-free telephone consultation service as well as attorney office services.

Plan Costs
The monthly premium for legal insurance in 2009 is:

• Self: $10.02
• Self plus adult: $13.78
• Self plus child(ren): $13.78
• Self plus adult plus child(ren): $15.03

Terminating Enrollment
You may cancel coverage at any time. You may be able to re-enroll during Open Enrollment; however the plan is not open for enrollment every year.
